The US-American metropolis Orlando is located in the heart of Florida and is very popular with tourists. Thanks to a year-round mild climate and the typical American flair, Orlando is a very good destination for families as well as couples of all ages.

Theme parks leave nothing to be desired
A very special attraction for children and the young-at-heart are the approximately 50 different theme parks, which are located directly in the city or in the nearby surroundings. In Orlando there are theme parks with all kinds of themes. Besides numerous water parks, visitors can also visit theme parks such as SeaWorld Orlando or special Disney theme parks. Depending on your personal taste, you can choose from a whole range of parks or enjoy the variety during a longer stay.

Also suitable for culture enthusiasts
At the Orange County Regional History Center, interested visitors learn a lot about the history of the city. The museum is located directly on the famous Central Boulevard and is therefore easily accessible by all public transport. The center is open all day and can be booked with a guided tour upon request. The impressive City Arts Gallery offers its guests five different art galleries in one.

Paintings by local artists are exhibited here as well as various projects by international stars. The Well's Built Museum of American History offers exciting insights into Orlando's eventful history. Among other things, the development of the African-American music scene can be traced here. The special thing about the museum: It is located in a former hotel, which was built by the world famous Dr. Wells. Furniture and interior decoration have been authentically reproduced, giving the museum a very special atmosphere.

Shopping centre and restaurants on a grand scale
Not only are the malls in central Florida huge, but there are also hotels and restaurants in abundance. Typical American food is offered here, but there are also plenty of dishes from all over the world. One does not necessarily need a big budget for this, as the prices range from fast food up to multi-course luxury menus. In any case, a multicultural and interesting ambience is free of charge and this is incomparably exciting.

In the local "Premium Outlets", visitors can purchase expensive brands for little money. Real bargains can be made here! In addition, there are many articles from the fields of fashion, cosmetics, technology and food, which are not available in Germany at all or only via detours. For this reason, a visit to one of the huge shopping centres is worth the trip. There is also a lot to discover for children.
