Hotels, stores, markets, restaurants and much more!
Fethiye is a grown city with an old town worth seeing. In the small alleys and streets are hidden cozy cafes, interesting stores and special restaurants. You can experience the special oriental flair at one of the markets between Carsisi Caddesi and Atatürk Caddesi. However, Turkish delicacies and delicacies always attract many visitors. A stroll is always worthwhile here!

The center reaches to the popular marina with excellent fish restaurants at the well-visited pier. If you don't like to stay in one of the many small hotels directly in the city, you can choose between a variety of 3-star to 5-star accommodations along the wide sandy beach. Especially popular are the beaches of Çalis, Karagözler and Ölüdeniz. Water sports enthusiasts can let off steam here, whereas surfers should rather settle down in Çalis.

There is often a whipping wind, which makes surfing a pleasure. Ölüdeniz, on the other hand, is very calm, because the water is completely calm here due to its geographical location. The bay is therefore often referred to as the Silent Bay. If the hotels do not have direct access to the beach and do not have their own beach section, sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented directly at the beach.

Fethiye is interesting for culture lovers!
In and around Fethiye you can make a number of excursions and sightseeing tours. Directly above the town, among the rocky cliffs, Lycian rock tombs were found in the 4th to 6th century. The most beautiful tomb, the Amyntas Tomb, is one of the landmarks of Fethiye. Almost at the same time the tombs were found in Tlos, a small village in the middle of the Xanthos valley, a little south of Fethiye.

Remarkable here are also a theater and ancient baths. The excursion can also be combined with a visit to an old castle from the time of the Knights of the Order of St. John. Also worth seeing in Fethiye are a Hellenistic theater, the museum of Fethiye with archaeological excavation finds with vases, ceramics and statues and the white mosque built by governor Hasan Pasha in 1771.

Even more nature and relaxation!
If you would like to get to know the wider surroundings of Fethiye and experience nature at its best, you should visit the gigantic canyon of the Saklikent Gorge. Here narrow wooden bridges lead between the rocks and convey the grandeur of the Lycian Taurus Mountains. The canyon is 14 km long and can be walked on easily.
